AWS is a solid cloud server provider. Not only can we log in via SSH to do all kinds of operations, but we can also upload and download data from outside using the aws command and its subcommands.
aws is a Python package. The official documentation has detailed installation instructions.
Simply put, there are two ways.
One is to use pip:
Python
sudo pip install --upgrade awscliThe other is to download the package and install it:
Bash
wget 'https://s3.amazonaws.com/aws-cli/awscli-bundle.zip'
unzip awscli-bundle.zip
sudo ./awscli-bundle/install -i /usr/local/aws -b /usr/local/bin/awsThe wget step can also use axel:
Bash
axel -n 256 'https://s3.amazonaws.com/aws-cli/awscli-bundle.zip'Then it’s ready to use:
Bash
aws help
